When it comes to Platform-bashing, it's all about truthiness. Who needs facts when you can go with the gut? Thank you, Stephen Colbert :P

I'm not a big fan of Apple, either, and it has quite a bit to do with their leadership and the over-promotion of the simplest most inconsequential of items, and the general attitude I get from some of the worshippers. 90% of Apple users are great, and at least 50% of that group are incredibly intelligent and solve complex problems visually (a great skill when working with large sets of data). 10% of the Apple users I've met have been more arrogant and repugnant than Bono.

But then, we can say the same thing about Windows and *nix users, can't we?

You're right that the Mac vs Windows vs Linux thing is getting old. What's left to be said about each of them? Arguing about which OS is superior is kind of like arguing whether it's better to eat toast with jam or peanut butter. Everyone has their own preferences and reasons for them. What someone says in an article will have little impact on their decisions unless some "wow" is brought to the table.

Unfortunately, there hasn't been one OS vs OS post this year that has given us any reason to be wowed :???:
